Details

Each pair of Masai Barefoot Technology (MBT) Shoes comes with an insole made from high quality foam creating a layer of orthopedic padding that provides extra cushion with every step.  This along with the MBT patented heel sensor helps to reduce impact  on knee and hip joints making them ideal orthopedic shoes.

The MBT Z3000-2 running shoe takes cushioning and shock absorption to a whole new level with a sporty, athletic look to match. The Z3000-2 features a new engineered double layered mesh upper designed for durability, finished with a shock-absorbing PU insole and high abrasion rubber outsole. With the Stabilizer X Technology heel counter, runners or walkers can breeze through long bouts of training or runs thanks to maximum support and increased stability.

Features:

  • MBT LEVEL 3 ROCKER which generates an increased level of rock to provide extra cushioning and maximum muscle activation.
  • UPPER is made of Engineered Double Layered Mesh
  • EVA FOAM MIDSOLE - The unique & functional part of the midsole is the pivot axis underneath the midfoot, which promotes active rolling movement with every step and the EVA foam material provides great shock absorption.
  • OUTSOLE is made of high abrasion rubber for maximum durability
  • PU INSOLE with good shock absorption and breathability
  • ROCKER BOTTOM SHOE – From the point your heal first hits the ground until your toes leave it, the curved sole of the MBT rocker shoe matches the natural movement of your foot while giving the same stability as a traditional walking shoe. The gentle roll promotes a natural cushioning to your feet and the angle of the PivotAxis, critical to the Pivot Strike location at the midfoot, provides the ideal foot striking platform to transition into propulsion or a forward movement while enhancing support.
  • TECHNOLOGY IN THE SHOE – MBT SensorTechnology is the bottom unit component that is located between the midsole and the outsole and with its soft PU compound creates the specific functionality of the MBT sole. The PivotAxis Technology under the midfoot promotes balance and a natural rolling movement that activates muscles required for good posture.
  • CREATED WITH STABILITY IN MIND – The stability of the MBT shoe is identical to any high-quality walking shoe and the only roll you feel is from your heal to your toes. There is no side to side roll so run or walk with confidence.
  • APMA CERTIFIED - With a seal of acceptance from the American Podiatric Medical Association (APMA), MBT shoes support overall foot health, whether you're walking, running, or standing all day on the job. Feel the impact of the original rocker bottom shoe:
    • Provides good arch support to help take care of your long-term foot health.
    • Helps improve balance and posture by activating your postural muscles.
    • Delivers a cushioned step when you're recovering from a long run or demanding day on your feet.
    • Increases muscle activity and improves venous activity.

Measure your feet

Wear the type of socks you'll wear with your shoes and measure feet in the afternoon (feet typically swell during the day). Distribute weight evenly before measuring.

1.  Step 1 for Measuring Your Foot

Place a piece of paper on a hard floor with one end to the wall. Stand on the piece of paper with the heel slightly touching the wall.

2. Step 2 for Measuring Your Foot

Mark the end of your longest toe with a pencil for both feet.

3.  Step 3 for Measuring Your Foot

Take the larger of the two foot length values and compare it with our sizing chart, to define your shoe size.
